This SFK Kindergarten Phonics Curriculum Unit focuses on phonics and phonological awareness skills of CVCe words (also called Silent e, Magic e, and Bossy e words). Through this all-in-one unit, students will be able to decode, blend, spell and read CVCe words fluently.

This CVCe words unit blends phonological, phonemic awareness, and phonics skills to ensure that your students are getting a solid foundation in early reading skills. Your students will love the exciting and engaging daily phonics lessons filled with daily songs, phonemic awareness warm-ups, and simple whole-group activities. Then, they will practice CVCe words independently with one of the hands-on center activities or a variety of fine-motor skills-building phonics worksheets. They will have so much fun, they won’t even realize they are learning!
