Hey everyone, I'm Kristina!It's been a long time since I've done any kind of intro post and my IG account has changed a lot since I first started so here's a little life update👇🏻🍍I started this Instagram account back in 2015 😳 after I had just moved across the country (FL ➡️CA) with my now husband. It was a teaching account where I shared all things Kindergarten and my Teachers Pay Teachers resources in my @sweetforkindergarten store. 🍍I started Sweet for Kindergarten as a creative outlet to share teaching ideas. I honestly just wanted to make a few extra bucks selling resources to fund my weekly Friday Starbucks trip! ☕️ 🍍I taught 6 years, 5 in TK/K before having my first child, Caroline in 2018. I decided to take a year off and work on blogging/TPT to help support my family. My dream was always to be a SAHM while my kids were young and this was my way to make it happen!🍍Fast forward a few more years, another cross country move (CA ➡️ VA), lots of naptime hustling, having my son- Nolan in 2021, and another pregnancy later, I was able to grow Sweet for Kindergarten more than I could've imagined! (Although it's still hard to explain to others what I actually do) 🍍I've been out of the classroom for 5 years now and don't plan on going back until my kids are all in school, so keeping a "teaching account" on Instagram was hard and honestly overwhelming for me. I'm still creating new resources (and trying them out with Caroline now ☺️) blogging, staying current with the education world for Sweet for Kindergarten. 🍍If you're still reading this, well thanks for being here! 👋🏻 Moving forward I'll be sharing my daily life, kid activities, mom hacks, early childhood development, Amazon and target deals, and just relatable mom content.
