I rebuilt. Slowly.

I’m 2.5 years postpartum with my third and finally feel like I’m back to business… but it didn’t come from doing anything extreme.

It came from a few simple habits I repeated over and over again.

Nothing fancy. Just things I could actually stick to:

My daily non-negotiables right now:�• Workout first thing in the morning (I've been using @joinladder since August and loving the curated trainings with actual coaches!)�• Morning walks (even if it’s quick)�• At least 7 hours of sleep (I'm in bed at 9/9:30 every night!) �• Daily hormonal support (after the rollercoaster of being pregnant and breastfeeding back to back to back 😅) with @beam Glow�• Eating enough + prioritizing protein (I’m eating over 1800 calories and still losing weight)

That’s it.

But here’s the part that actually made it work…�I didn’t start all of these at once.
I layered them in over time.�
One habit at a time. One routine at a time.
And now, about a year later…�I’m down 10 pounds, feeling stronger, and actually maintaining it.

Not because I went all in for 2 weeks…�but because I stayed consistent for months.
If you feel like nothing is working, it might not be what you’re doing…�it might just be that you’re trying to do too much at once.

Start smaller than you think you need to.�Stick with it longer than you want to.
That’s the difference.

My husband traveled over 50 nights last year, and when he’s gone… dinner is the part of the day I used to dread the most.

I can’t stop thinking about this…

Breaking a bad habit isn’t really about stopping something.
It’s just starting a new habit… in reverse.

Instead of asking:
“How do I stop doing this?”

I started asking:
“What needs to replace it?”
“What’s triggering it?”
“How can I make this harder to do?”

And that’s when things actually started to stick.

Most of these weren’t big, dramatic changes.
Some I didn’t even realize I had “fixed” until I looked back.

Others were super intentional swaps,
like replacing afternoon coffee, setting app limits, or giving myself a go-to sweet treat instead of mindless snacking.

Nothing here is about being perfect.
I stick to these maybe 95% of the time…

…but that’s what makes them work.

If you feel stuck in the same habits over and over,
it’s probably not you... it’s the system behind it.

I’m constantly trying to find ways to help me feel my best, especially as a mom of 3 who was finally done with being pregnant and breastfeeding after 5 years straight.

And honestly, I still felt off for a long time.

I was doing everything right. Working out, walking, drinking water, getting my steps in.

But I was still exhausted, bloated, and relying on coffee just to function.
I kept telling myself it was just mom life.

But a year after I stopped breastfeeding, I still didn’t feel like myself.

I’m the kind of mom who HATES goody bags and random clutter… so my goal with Easter baskets is simple:

everything has a purpose and nothing ends up in a million pieces or the trash a week later.

This is the exact formula I’ve used for 7 Easters (and now 3 kids later) and it works every time:

1. New swimsuit
Kick off summer ready for pool days from day one.

2. New summer sandals
I grab the next size when they go on sale=done.

3. Summer accessory
Hats, sunglasses, beach towels, whatever they actually need.

4. Something to play with outside
Bubbles, chalk, pool toys, beach toys
👉 I always grab these from Target (Sun Squad = the best and usually under $5)

5. Something to play or make
A small game, Legos, craft kit, puzzle, coloring book
👉 something we can actually use together

6. Something to read
A new book for quiet time or bedtime

7. Something yummy
Just ONE favorite candy or snack, so we don’t end up with a ton of random junk candy

It’s simple, it’s intentional, and everything actually gets used all summer long ☀️

No clutter. No wasted money. No overstimulating baskets.

Just a system that makes Easter easy.
